Alex Kyle started playing in bands while studying Music and Literature at Deakin Uni.
He has played in many bands over the years, both original and cover (most notably with the very successful “Run Spot Run”), and has toured throughout Europe and the US.
Alex has performed in most of Melbourne's top venues and supported and played with many of Australia’s finest musicians.
Alex now fronts his own Eight Piece funk band "Rhythm Company", plays in cover band, “Tadpole”, performs all over Melbourne as an acoustic soloist and performs in duos and trios in “Rhythm Company” spin-offs; “Two’s Company”, “Three’s Company” and “The Barocca Brothers”.
His song list is extensive, and when performed solo can be done acoustically or with full backing. Alex has a wide variety of styles and believes that music should be fun and entertaining.
